Michele is a loyal and dedicated professional who has worked with Dr. Dorociak since he first opened his practice. She was born and raised in Euclid, Ohio, where she began her dental career immediately after graduating from high school. She moved to Florida over 20 years ago and began working in Ft. Myers. She eventually made her way to Sarasota and began working for Dr. Dorociak where she has been for more than 18 years. Trained as a dental assistant, she oversees the front desk where she feels the best part of her job is getting to know the many patients and the stories they bring. Many patients have become like family to her over the years. She is happily married and has two beautiful daughters, Janelle and Rachel. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and loves to travel. Michele's goal before she retires is to see Dr. Dorociak compete on the reality show Survivor.
Amber Charbeneau
Patient Services
Amber is from the beautiful state of Michigan. She was born and raised a Tigers fan while growing up in Eastpointe, a small town north of Detroit. While in Michigan, she worked in oral surgery for 8 years. Along with her experience in dentistry, she has a bachelors degree in marketing and is even a certified wedding and event planner. You can find Amber ready to greet you with a smiling face and open arms at the front desk, working side by side with Michele.
Tiffany Le
Treatment Assistant
Tiffany has practiced as a CDA (certified dental assistant) for over nine years. She is a true Floridian, even in the middle of winter you can catch her wearing flip-flops! She has continued her training through the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. Her passion and commitment toward excellence in dentistry is unsurpassed. She takes tremendous pride in helping others achieve a beautiful smile and setting a standard for optimal patient care. Her love of dentistry is inspired by Dr. Dorociak, energized by the compassion and honesty he provides to his patients. At home, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with her "little slugger" Preston and "mini-me" Arabella. When she's not in the dugout being the "team mom," her hobbies include drawing and reading.
Michelle Bellina
Treatment Assistant
Michelle is a certified dental assistant with over 15 years of experience. She is a graduate of Manatee Technical Institute. A good portion of her early training has dealt with endodontics (root canal therapy). Always friendly and talkative, Michelle has the capability of putting any patient at ease while delivering quality care. She was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, but moved to Sarasota when she was 12 years old, giving her an almost Florida native status. She absolutely loves being part of Dr. Dorociak's team, and is always enthusiastic about the advanced technology we use for our treatments, continuing education, our fantastic patients, and of course the joke of the day. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her family, scrapbooking, or working out. She is an avid runner who adheres to a very strict schedule!
Sandra Ohnikian
Treatment Assistant
If dentistry were a card game, then Sandy would be one of the aces! She grew up as a farmer's daughter in Ohio, where she enjoyed horseback riding, rodeos, and of course lots of animals. She later moved to Stratford, Connecticut, where she received her degree from Briarwood College. She worked in the Constitution State for 15 years before moving to Florida to be with her mother and grandmother. After working here in Sarasota and taking time to be a mom, Sandy found Dr. Dorociak. She was impressed by his integrity and the care he gives his patients. Also lovingly known in the office as Sophia, Sandy has been with the practice for many years and has no intentions to retire before Dr. Dorociak. She even plans on being the lead assistant for one of his daughters when they join the practice. She truly enjoys being a part of our wonderful dental family.
Christine Rivera
Treatment Assistant
Chris is a certified dental assistant originally from Colorado. She moved from the Rocky Mountain state in 2001 and has been a part of the team for many years. She strives to provide awesome dental care and comfort for her patients. At the same time she likes to laugh and make the patients feel at home. Chris is the culinary expert in the practice, with cooking and art being her two passions. If you talk with Chris dont be surprised if you leave the office with a recipe for dinner!
Gillian Dorociak
Registered Dental Hygienist
Gillian is one of our amazing hygienists. Originally from Ontario, Canada, she has been living in Sarasota since high school. If you listen closely, you can still detect some of her Canadian roots, often responding with a definitive "Eh!" Originally trained as a dental assistant, Gill obtained her degree from Palm Beach Community College where she served as class president. She has been part of the team for over 15 years and has exceptional skills. Her bright smile and contagious laughter light up the office. She takes tremendous pride in making long-lasting friendships with her patients as well as educating them and helping them achieve dental health. Gill demonstrates great joy in her family and you can always find her doing something whether it is cheering for her boys on the playing field, visiting her girls at Notre Dame, or traveling with her husband.
Colette Stubbs
Registered Dental Hygienist - RDH BASDH
Colette found a home with Dr. Dorociak immediately after graduating from Manatee Community College in dental hygiene. She now takes great pride in making every patient feel right at home in our office. She is currently attending St. Petersburg College to continue her education in dental hygiene. Colette brings to the practice a vast array of experience in treating patients of all ages. She has worked in the nursing field at both Sarasota and Venice Hospitals along with running her own daycare. With gentle hands, a big heart, and a dedication to personal care she looks forward to making a great connection with her patients. She has been married since 2005, to her dear, high school sweetheart. She currently resides at her home in Myakka City with her husband, their three teenage children, and a small farm of ducks, chickens, and vegetables.
Kellie Sue Snapp
Registered Dental Hygienist - RDH BASDH
Kelli has been in the dental field since 1994 and is an important part of our dental team. Her amicable personality is a delight for patients to experience. She began as a dental assistant and practiced in Sarasota for six years before deciding to further her education in dental hygiene at Manatee Community College. Her commitment to excellence has allowed her to continue her training in the Bachelor in Dental Hygiene Program at St. Petersburg College. Kelli Sue is currently raising five dogs, and is an avid 8-ball pool player. When you come in to see Kelli, make sure you ask her about her latest adventure, as she enjoys spending time traveling to new and exciting destinations with her boyfriend.
Melissa Perkins
Registered Dental Hygienist
Melissa has been a member of our "super staff" since 1995. She began as a dental assistant, and Dr. Dorociak describes this time for her as "finding her niche in the world." Melissa realized that she wanted to do more in her career, and subsequently, she decided to attend the dental hygiene program at Manatee Community. After completing the program in 2002, she returned to the practice as a registered dental hygienist where she offers the best in care and comfort. Melissa is at the top of her game, and she is involved in testing and evaluating new products for the practice. Her role as a professional student continues as she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. At the same time, Melissa has started a family, being the proud new mom of her baby boy, Cole Douglas.
Gwen Good
Registered Dental Hygienist
Gwen takes pride in her work and has great rapport with her patients. Her friendly and caring personality makes every patient feel comfortable in the chair. Gwen obtained her Associate in Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at Manatee Community College. Originally from Northern Virginia and after spending over seven years in New York, Gwen loves living in sunny Florida. When not at the office, Gwen assists her husband of eighteen years with his plumbing business and does volunteer work for a worldwide bible education organization. She also enjoys traveling and scrapbooking.
Mischa Pacini
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mischa is a part-time dental hygienist who practices full-time enjoyment. In 1992, Mischa graduated with an associates of science in Dental Hygiene from Valencia Community College in Orlando. She enjoys working with the patients in our practice's fun, high tech, and relaxed environment. Mischa strives to treat each patient like a family member with individualized care and concern. She is married with a beautiful 4-year-old daughter. She loves exercise, boating, and going to the beach.
