This weekend, Dr. Mike along with his son Jared treated some of the dental residents at the University of Florida to
a wonderful deep sea fishing adventure in Sarasota. Dr. Mike remarked that one of his best memories when he was a dental resident in Miami included a deep sea fishing trip and he wanted to give his residents the same experience. Joined by the famous Captain Brian and the Midnite Son, everybody caught plenty of fish and a great time. Some of the fish included Key West Grunt, Trigger Fish,and the biggest catch of all, a Gag grouper which had to be returned to the waters. All the dentists on board even took the
time to examine some of the interesting teeth on the fish known as a Sheephead.
A friendly pelican even joined the expedition. All in all, it was a lasting memory for everybody and if you ever need a captain worth his weight in gold I mean fish, call
Captain Brian.
